The contest brief describes the vision and direction of your brand so our creative community can develop an accurate impression of your business.
Our brief includes multiple questions about your business, where you want to go with it, and who your target audience is. To help, here are a few tips to keep in mind when describing your brand:
Focus on the brand, not the business - Your brand is derived from who you are, who you want to be and who people perceive you to be.
Define your target audience - You want to be able to define the needs, habits and desires of your current and prospective customers.
You are trying to evoke emotions, so keep this in mind when writing a contest description.
Include key messages you want to communicate about your brand, but don’t include any valuable information for your company such as trade secrets.
Let your passion and excitement show in the contest description section as you explain what you hope to accomplish. Your excitement should show in the tone of your writing.
For logo contests, make sure to include any feelings and messages you want the visual design to communicate to your viewers.
Note: You can share additional details with the Creative community after the contest starts by using the ‘Add a note’ feature within your Contest page.
